The mission of MO the movement is to inspire and enable companies to have a positive impact on society through volunteering.

Through MO the movement, employees get the opportunity to spend part of their working time on social projects or charities. By connecting companies to volunteer opportunities, employees get the time and space to contribute to a social cause that appeals to them. At the same time, the social responsibility of the companies is promoted and made transparent.

The challenge started with a cool idea: building a smart matching platform. But if you want to start a business, it takes more than an idea and the technology. Work also had to be done to define a vision, develop a business model, and conquer a position in the market. At Quatronic, we are not only interested in building solutions; we also want to contribute strategically and advise. That is why we entered into this partnership as a partnership, building a lasting relationship with MO the Movement.

Having a business idea is one thing, but to then convert this idea into an architecture for a platform, you need professionals. At Quatronic, I found these professionals. Process

  1. Collecting Requirements: In a two-day workshop with the MO the Movement team, we identified the specific needs and challenges.
  2. Design & Prototyping: We then created a high-fidelity prototype to visualize the solution and gather feedback from MO the Movement as well as potential customers and investors.
  3. Development: Within 3 months, we delivered a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) using OutSystems (ODC). Regular feedback sessions and continuous communication with stakeholders meant that we were able to quickly make adjustments and set priorities based on customer needs. This results in a fast time-to-market and high customer satisfaction.
  4. Testing & Implementation: Various volunteer organizations and companies have been involved in the development of the platform. We are currently in a pilot phase, collecting as much feedback as possible from end users. This feedback will be included in the further development.

Outcome

In just three months, we have delivered a matching platform that has completely modernized the approach to corporate volunteering. The platform has a clear positioning in the market and supports a growing network of users and volunteer opportunities. In addition, the movement is in line with MO's business model.

The platform is unique in calculating matching rates. This allows volunteers to immediately find the top 3 vacancies that best suit their interests, skills and available hours. This greatly simplifies the search for suitable volunteer work.

The simple use of the platform leads to increased employee engagement and higher participation rates. This allows companies and their employees to contribute more effectively to social goals.

In addition, it offers extensive analysis and reporting options, making the impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) measurable and transparent for companies.
