Connekt - Partner Portal
Reducing the administrative burden for program managers and supporting mandatory auditing
Connekt is a network in mobility and logistics where governments, companies and knowledge institutions work together. It is a foundation that receives money from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management for innovation projects. Connekt ensures that this money ends up with the right partners to carry out projects.
For Connekt, we have carried out several projects. This case is about the partner portal.
Clear project administration
Connekt's program managers have to oversee a lot of projects. Communication is often via email and Microsoft Teams, making it difficult to keep an overview. In addition, 1 program manager can manage more than 100 projects.
Through Connekt, the ministry makes money pay to the supplier/partner who carries out a certain project. This money becomes available at fixed points in a project, when certain conditions are met. Keeping track of project progress and deliverables was hampered by the lack of overview and structure.
Starting a project also took a lot of time. Accountability must be given about the choice of a particular party, the costs and other issues. The administration of all the required paperwork was unclear without a clear system.
Managing and auditing project deliverables
We've built a partner portal. This is a central place for managing contracts, project deliverables and invoices. This system makes the administration of program managers, the back office and partners a lot easier. This system also supports the execution of audits, which are regularly carried out by the ministry. This must be possible to demonstrate what has changed per document, why it was done, when and by whom.
A link with Power BI has also been made. There, financial reports are created based on data from the partner portal.
