One of our first projects was at SMART Asset Integrity Solutions (SMART AIS), a company that performs inspections on drilling platforms. Previously, inspectors had to deal with a cumbersome inspection process. Prior to each inspection, stacks of measurement forms were printed out, which they then had to fill out accurately on site. Retyping all measurement data into Excel once back at the office took a long time and was error-prone. Once the data was in Excel, the next person started working with it. So a hassle. With our low-code solution, we've made inspectors' lives a lot more fun. All measurements are entered directly on location in a handy tablet application, after which everything is synchronized at the touch of a button. Then, inspectors only need to add a brief summary of their findings. This not only makes the process much faster and error-free, it also allows inspectors to focus on what they are really good at: inspecting.

Forty to sixty percent gain in efficiency

This therefore makes for happier inspectors, but it also benefits the customer. Now, when a customer calls, it's just a matter of a few clicks to find the desired status information. Inspectors or their colleagues now have direct insight into the inspection overview. Thanks to this digitization, SMART AIS can work between forty and sixty percent more efficiently throughout the entire process. There is no longer a need to print documents or carry stacks of papers; just the measuring equipment and a tablet are sufficient.
