Quatronic: low-code solutions with impact

This blog is machine translated to English.

In April, we can already blow out five candles for Quatronic. Time flies! It all started at First Consulting where we met as colleagues. Our shared passion for enterprise tech implementation brought us closer together to the point that we decided to start our own company. After countless nights of brainstorming, we came up with our name: Quatronic. The four co-founders brought together into one.

Is it a problem, or does a perception need to change?

When a customer asks for an IT solution, do you just create it? Or is there a better way to solve this problem or change perception? We chose the latter. As soon as a customer comes to us with a problem, we dive into the entire company. We keep asking — until they love us — until we have a clear picture of the company, processes and bottlenecks. Only when enough knowledge has been collected do we look at a solution. Sometimes the solution is not what the client asked for, but we solve a problem that no one has considered yet. That gives us a thrill!

“That's how we've always done it”

We assume such an answer. This is because it often means that a process can be optimized, automated and improved. Does the customer work with sheets in Excel that don't talk to each other? For that, we can come up with a low-code solution that not only saves time, but also minimizes the risk of errors.

One month of work, reduced to one day

One example is a solution that we have developed for SMART AIS. They check parts of drilling platforms for wear and tear. Before we interfered, the auditors flew to the platform with sheets of paper to fill them in and document them in Excel when they returned. From there, they were calculated and the inspection report was drawn up. That could be done better, faster and with less risk! Together, we went back to the core of their work: keeping a drilling platform safe with as little human error as possible. Once we had figured out how to think from Excel sheets, we got to the core of the problem and the solution. We have built three applications to automate this process and make it easier. Now the inspector goes to the drilling platform with a tablet. An app navigates between the components and can be documented immediately. The inspection is sent to the office in real time, where the data passes through the calculation module that calculates everything. The report can be sent to the customer at the touch of a button. This is a month of manual work reduced to one day.

Solutions like this make our hearts beat faster. Curious about what we can do for your company? Check out our cases or contact us directly contact with us.
